Yes Machines Can Get Whip-Smart !

Why can’t they? When we all know nothing is impossible. Mankind has come across a long way, the journey from stone and bronze to Iron Age is no less than a marvel. Today we are in digital age and slowly we are actually moving into the world of machines, the era of ‘Artificial Intelligence’.



The phase where machines will evolve smarter, much advanced to make their own choice & decisions. We have witnessed how computers and phones have got smarter with time. We humans have senses that add to our intelligence, we have eyes to see, ears to hear, mouth to speak skin to feel, nose to smell legs and hands to work etc. When all these senses comprised together are fed into an artificial object it too can have the future where it will stand side by side to human capabilities matching intelligence of its generator.

In fact if we look around we will realize lots of intelligent objects around us. We have Siri, Google Now & Cortana as our virtual assistants. These are intelligent digital platforms which responds to our voice. There are smart cars by Google and Tesla driving automatically just like human’s drive, by continuous learning exposure provided to them. There are security surveillance scanners that can take inputs from cameras and determine whether there may be a threat all these through supervised training experiences that are given to these devices which makes them intelligent.
In past few days Facebook was making headlines for shutting down its robots as they invented their own means of communicating language similar to English. But later as stated by their team they had made some errors by not feeding them with human comprehensible set and rules of linguistics which made their conversations with each other look creepy. But who knows just like a new born baby who gains intelligence watching and learning every day to become more mature to take his own decision ahead can be a scenario cannot be looked down or ignored for machines, what may seem like dumb and immature at the beginning can grow into artificial super power in the future.

WANNACRY RANSOMWARE

ImageSource WannaCry One of the most prolific attacks ! WannaCry is an ongoing ransomware cyber attack, that holds your computer hostage until the  demanded ransom is paid. This Crypto Worm started its attack on 2017 May 12, and was reported to infect more than 2,30,000  PC in more than 150 countries. The malware attacks vulnerable operating systems running older v ersions of windows. Hackers used cyber tools stolen from the US National Security Agency to strike the attack. WannaCry encrypts and scrambles all the data in the infected computer, then the malware pops up with a screen displaying the ransom note and demanding fee payable in **Crypto Currency (BitCoins). The malware has now evolved into a new worm EternalRock, which does not have the “kill switch” like that of WannaCry.
